About Us

WARMINSKA Sp. z o.o. was established in 1950. At the beginning it employed 19 people, who operated 12 sewing machines, including 5 eclectic ones. The first decade of business activity was characterized by dynamic growth of production: more machines were bought, and employment grew up to 160 people. In following years WARMINSKA increased the production of hospital clothes, also for export to Russia, Czechoslovakia, Libya, The Netherlands and Germany. In 1976 our products were exhibited for the first time on Poznan Trade Fairs. In the same year Spodzielnia moved into new building, and acquired spacious shop floors. In consequence the working conditions have improved, as well as employees' satisfaction and possibilities for further production growth.

Years 1977-1978 were decisive for WARMINSKA – cooperation with Johnson & Johnson was established. Company started manufacturing disposable operation caps – Elast and All.
In subsequent years the production was growing systematically – in 1990 over 8mln pcs was produced, and we introduced 2 new models: Flott and Top.

Year 1990 is a new age for WARMINSKA. New Board of Directors was elected (which operates to date). The number of administration staff was reduced, and at the same time number of production staff increased.

In 1993 WARMINSKA obtained certificate ISO 9002, and in year 2003 specialist certificate for production of medical devices. Today company has following certificates:

  • DIN EN ISO 9001:2008

  • EN ISO 13485:2007

In 2001 Swedish concern Mölnlycke Health Care AB purchased shares in disposable medical devices market from Johnson & Johnson. Since then WARMINSKA continues the production of caps under new brand - Mölnlycke Barier. In next years the orders exceeded 60mln pcs per year.

WARMINSKA Sp. z o.o. today:
- is a company managed in modern way, based on new technologies,
- employs about 600 people,
- for more then 10 years has valid ISO certificates,
- will manage almost every order!!!
